The 'Glyphoscope' stereo box camera for plates 1 3/4 x 4 1/4. With a two position guillotine shutter between the lens type. With fixed speed and time and three apertures; fully open, medium and small. The lenses are fixed focus Symmetrical types 61mm f.1 F.8. Viewing via a direct vision finder, mounted at side. Aviation instruments: Impellor, unsigned, connected to a Stop-Watch, unsigned, which is connected to a Distance Meter, by Jules Richard, Paris, France, all three instruments are attached to a two-piece oak frame, from the Replica, of the 1903 ‘Wright Flyer’ aircraft, by The de Havilland Aeronautical Technical School, Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England, 1948. The actual 1903 ‘Wright Flyer’: - designed and built by the Wright Brothers: Orville and Wilbur, achieved the world’s first successful heavier-than-air powered flight, on 17th December 1903 at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, United States.
